The history of the company begins in 1962. On August 11, 2003 has been changed the owner of the company, STRIP a.s. Kosice. The company changed the commercial name to KOVOSTROJ s.r.o. Dobsina. KOVOSTROJ has currently available 8 profiling lines and splitting line for transverse and longitudinal cutting of sheet. KOVOSTROJ a.s. Dobsina produces thin-wall stell profiles (profiles for PVC windows, plasterboard systems etc.) and lenght-wise slitting of zinc-coated coils. In 2009 company changed the commercial name to a.s. KOVOSTROJ a.s. Dobsina has two subsidiaries, in Czech republic and in Romania.
