KASICO, a.s. was incorporated on 3rd June, 1991 as a special printing company for securities and special printing for the needs of the then founding shareholder - Slovenska sporitelna, a.s. In May 1993, KASICO received approval from the Ministry of Finance of Slovak Republic to print securities. The products produced so far were the ID cards in 1998-2006, passports 1997-2003, visas, certificate on registration of motor vehicles, shares, investment certificates, highway vignettes, and other valuable documents. The company prints also books, for example the Bible, magazines, advertising and company leaflets or publications, packaging.
