Spinea, s.r.o. is a company located in Prešov, Slovakia. It was founded in 1997 with the goal of developing a high-precision reduction gear to address operational deficiencies in industrial robots. The company focused on establishing optimal technological processes and gaining the trust of customers. In 2000, serial production began, and SPINEA, s.r.o. secured its first major contract from KUKA, leading to systematic sales growth. This growth prompted further investments, resulting in the opening of a second production plant in Prešov in 2007. Between 2012 and 2014, the company made extensive investments to expand its production capacity. In 2018, a new plant in Haniska near Prešov was constructed and opened in June 2019, housing the offices and top management.
