The commercial company TIPOS, national lottery company, a.s. was set up by the establishment contract concluded on 11 December 1992. The main business activity of the company is operating of the state lottery especially number lotteries, gambling games on internet and special bingo under the provisions of Act No. 171/2005 Coll. on gambling games the change and amendments of some Acts and according to the individual licenses issued by the Ministry of Finance of Slovak Republic. The company has been doing business on Slovak lottery market, by its own business activity or per daughter companies, in the strong competitive environment of operators of instant lotteries, fixed odd betting, wining machines and gambling games in casinos. Slovak Republic represented by the Ministry of Finance of Slovak Republic is the only shareholder of the company registered in the evidence of securities managed by the Central Depository of Securities SR, a.s.
