Aseguradora Suiza Salvadorena, S.A. was founded in 1969. It is an institution that is dedicated to providing insurance, reinsurance, securities, deposits and investment management services. In 2001 the company begins to be part of the Grupo Inversiones Financieras Banco Agricola, which in 2007 was acquired by Bancolombia. In 2011 began the process of acquisition of shares of Asesuisa by Suramericana de Seguros from Colombia.
