Bank of Jordan - Syria is a joint stock company owned 49% Bank of Jordan. The bank was founded under the Banking Act of No. 28 of 2001 is licensed establishment on 27 May 2007 by resolution (No. 36) issued by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in the Syrian Arab Republic and was registered in Commercial Register of the province of Damascus under the number 15351 in May 28th 2008 and in the Register of banks No. 17 under date of July 29, 2008. The bank began its work in November 18, 2008 and is the all the services and banking and finance through its position in the city of Damascus - Baghdad Street. The operating branches in the Syrian Arab Republic are a total of 12 branches.
