SLM Corporation Public Company Limited, formerly known as Chuo Senko (Thailand) Public Company Limited, is a media agency and online advertising media production company based in Bangkok, Special Governed District of Thailand. The company was established in 1963 and initially operated as an agent broker, providing full-service advertising. Over the years, it has worked on numerous advertising campaigns for well-known products. In 2014, the company underwent a restructuring to become a holding company, aiming to increase liquidity for business expansion and investment. As part of this restructuring, some of the company's business was transferred to a new subsidiary called Chuo Senko Advertising (Thailand) Co., Ltd. The company also registered as a cross-country head office business, receiving approval from the Revenue Department in December 2015. In 2016, the company underwent another organizational restructuring. It sold investments in subsidiaries across various countries, including Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, and Myanmar, to Chuo Senko Advertising (Thailand) Co., Ltd. Additionally, the company sold all investments in Chuo Senko Advertising (Thailand) Co., Ltd. As a result, by the end of 2016, the company had only 10 subsidiaries and associates, down from the original 27. In 2017, further changes occurred, including the resignation of the Chairman of the Executive Committee in December 2017, changes in the Executive Committee in January 2018, and changes in major shareholders in June 2018. The new executives discovered irregular transactions and discrepancies in the consolidated financial statements prepared by the former executives. They had to rectify these issues, cancel subsidiaries and associates, and reclassify transactions. As of December 31, 2017, the company had only 2 subsidiaries remaining, namely Digital Dream Company Limited and Ad Asia Advertising (S) Pte. Ltd. Despite these challenges, the company continued to focus on its advertising business. In the third quarter of 2018, it established a Sales and Marketing Department to provide sales representative services to customers. The company recognized revenue from these services, which involved acting as a sales department for companies operating online variety show producers under service contracts. The new executives also worked diligently to address the company's past problems. In February 2020, the company expanded its services by entering the production business. It began offering full-service online media production, including video media production, online article preparation, and online media management. The company acquired the rights to use an online broadcasting channel with a large number of followers, including popular programs on those channels. This expansion allowed the company to support the production of integrated advertising media through various online broadcasting channels such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and its own website. Currently, SLM Corporation Public Company Limited operates as a media agency, fully integrated online advertising media production business, and content production business. It has also ventured into the production of television dramas and series, providing services as a contractor for the production of such content and sourcing actors and personnel.
