Societe des Industries Pharmaceutiques de Tunisie or SIPHAT is a Tunisian pharmaceutical company engaged in the manufacture and commercializing of more than 220 different basic pharmaceutical products. It was established in 1989 by the Tunisian government. Main export destinations are Algeria, Libya and Yemen. SIPHAT forces its partnerships, notably through the equity investment of Pfizer as well as the joint venture with the French lab Pierre Fabre. The company is headquartered in the capital of Tunis.
