Bilici Yatirim Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. was established in 1950 and began operations in the area of agricultural pesticides and consumer durables. In 1960 it started farming activities and cotton seed trade. In 1998 a yarn twisting facility, was founded on a 54,000-sqm area in Adana. Nowadays the Bilici Tarim holding (Biltar) has 60,000 citrus and 70,000 olive trees, and continues its cotton and corn farming activities. In addition to its core activities in the textile and agriculture industries, in 2007 Bilici Group built a 5-star hotel in the center of Adana with a capacity of 203 rooms.
