As a result of Concession Agreement with the Ministry of Energy in 1999 4 units of Cayirhan Thermal Power Plant and 1-st and 2-nd units coal mines were transferred to Park Termik. Units 3 and 4 of the mining area were transferred in 2001. Total installed capacity of the power plant is 620 MW. The daily production capacity of the mine is 30 thousand tons of coal. The underground mining of lignite is fully automated with annual capacity of 6,000,000 tons.
