Modern Enerji was established in 1996, to meet the needs of electricity and steam of the cardboard, textiles and packaging factory, and began commercial operations in 1997. Nowadays it has a total 100 MW installed capacity in Its three units. These facilities producing electricity by using natural gas also acquire 295 tons/h steam in addition to electricity. Modern Enerji is one of the rare enterprises in the sector which is able to sell almost all the steam produced in addition to electricity and thus ensure efficient use of resources.
