Pamukova Renewable Electricity Production Joint Stock Company (PAMEL) was established on December 18, 2007, with the aim of operating in the renewable energy sector. The company's shares are traded on the Istanbul Stock Exchange (BIST) under the code "PAMEL". PAMEL owns two hydroelectric power plants with a total installed capacity of 6.946 MW in Adıyaman province and 7.49 MW in Tortum district of Erzurum province. In addition, PAMEL is the sole owner of "Sun Renewable Energy Production Inc.", which was established in 2021 with a capital of 1,000,000 TL. In 2022, Sun Renewable Energy Production Inc. acquired Ortaköy Energy Inc. and Şişli Energy Inc., which have four solar power plants. These solar power plants, located in Ankara, Bala, have a total installed capacity of 4.01856 MW and are among Turkey's most efficient solar energy plants. Pamukova Electricity Production Inc. owns 79.07% of PAMEL.
