Tofas was founded with production capacity of 20.000 cars/year as Turkish-Italian partnership in 1968 and started serial production in 1971. Nowadays the company manufactures, assembles and distributes passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and spare parts under the Fiat license. Tofas’s manufacturing facilities are located at Bursa and has production capacity of 250 thousand cars a year. In addition to Fiat branded cars and commercial vehicles, Tofas provides sales and after-sales services for Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Ferrari and Maserati branded vehicles.
