Turkish Grain Board (Toprak Mahsulleri Ofisi - TMO), was established in 1938 as a state owned enterprise. Headquartered in Ankara, Turkish Grain Board (TMO) is a subsidiary organization of Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock. Nowadays TMO is primarily engaged in the field of agricultural products, including cereals market by streamlining regulatory measures to protect producers and consumers. TMO has warehouses in every district in Turkey, in various types and tonnages considering ports and intensive production areas. TMO has total storage capacity of 4 million tons.
