Apex Science & Engineering Corp. was set up in 1976.In 1995 Securities and Exchange Commission and the Taiwan Stock Exchange approved the listing application to the second class of stock.In 1998 it obtained ISO9001 Quality Assurance Certification by Taiwan Division of BVQi France. In 2000 it established Optoelectronics Division to operating electronic components trading. In 2001, it established the joint venture in Zhejiang Shaoxing "Zhejiang Guyue Longshan Electronic Technology Development Co., Ltd.", engaging in the SMD-related products sales. In 2002 Securities and Futures Commission approved its shares replaced by "electronic industry" shares since January 1, 2003.
