Dbtel Incorporated was established in 1979, went listed in OTC market in 1991 OTC stocks, and went on OTC trading in July 1991.In 1993, the Malaysian subsidiary obtained ISO9002 certification. In 1995 Tucheng factory in Taiwan obtained ISO9001 certification; and its Shanghai plant obtained ISO9002 certification. In 1996 it developed piezoelectric ink jet print head, which was awarded as the leading selection of new products Industrial Development Bureau Ministry of Economic Affairs.In 1998 its new products DECT, SST, PCMCIAWirless-LANCard won the Taiwan Excellence Award, officially transforming into a GSM mobile phone manufacturer. In 2000, its Shanghai plant obtained ISO14001 certification. In June 2001 it launched its own brand "DBTEL" in Beijing, entering China’s mobile phone market. In 2003 DBTEL GSM phone 2017/2029 series won a National Excellence Award.
