Founded in 1982, Dimension Computer Technology Co., Ltd. set up auto design department in 1985 and entered the EDA field. At the same year it introduced the world famous Redac computer-aid design system. In 1989 the company became Compaq’s second agent in Taiwan and became PackardBell personal computer’s sole agent in Taiwan in 1995. It set up Hong Kong Dimension Computer Technology Co., Ltd. in March 1999 and in April its branch in Mainland, namely, Dimension Computer Technology Co., Ltd. (Shenzhen) and Tianjin Dimension Computer Technology Co., Ltd. expanded the mainland market. In April 2002 the company was listed in OTC. Currently it primarily engaged in manufacture of computers and peripheral products. The company provides computer system products, including servers and relevant components, personal computers (PCs), workstations and relevant components, memory devices, backup devices and monitors, among others; network system products, including network cards, hubs, switches, routers, firewalls and wireless network devices; peripheral products, including monitors, graph plotters, projectors, printers and related consumable materials, among others; software, including operating systems, application software and electronic commerce solutions, as well as technical services, including installation, maintenance, upgrade, training and consultation services. The company distributes its products in domestic market as well as to the overseas markets, including Asia, the Americas and Europe.
