The company was established on January 29, 1988,engaging in the trade of printed circuit boards. In 1992 it transformed to be a professional printed circuit board manufacturing plant. In July, 1997 it obtained ISO-9002DNV certification. In March 1999 it obtained ISO14001 certification. In May 2000 its stock was approved for OTC listing, and in June went on OTC trading. In August, 2000, it obtained QS-9000 certification. In March 2001 it became a full member of Taiwan Printed Circuit Association. In March 2002 it established FirstHi-TecEnterpriseCaymanCo., Ltd. for indirect investment on the mainland.
