Zhen Wei Electronics was founded on February 21, 1986. On July 13 2006 it went public. The main products include the cold cathode light source module and the cable group. The products are mostly for domestic sales. The company's export is mainly to Asia. Initially the company was engaged in the cable group's manufacturing and sales. In 2003 it stepped into the welding and assembly of cold cathode fluorescent lamp module. It has passed AUO, CMO and CPT and other TFT-LCD factory certification. The cold cathode lamp (CCFL) used as the backlight source of LCD backlight module belongs to the upstream components of LCD industry. The following can also be LCD backlight source: light-emitting diode(LED),organic light-emitting diode (OLED) and electroluminescent ray (EL).The company's major domestic competitors are Jin Hao, Wan Xu,Xin Bang, Even Show and Hua Sheng.
