Founded at 11th July 2000, LICO Technology Corp is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of batteries. The main production bases are in Taiwan, and China Shandong. Company stock issued public offering at 31st August 2010. It began to trade as Emerging Stock at GreTai Securities Market on 29th October 2010. Main income comes from the battery pack manufacture and sales, which are mostly applied in areas of NB, digital cameras, smart phone and e-books. Japanese companies are still the largest ones in Li-ion battery industry worldwide, such as Sanyo (market share 19.5%), SONY (market share 12.5%) and etc. Lithium Battery Division is the downstream assembly industry. In Taiwan companies engaged in this industry are Xinpu, Shunda, Gabriel Yu and Xi Sheng International.
