Mechema Chemicals International Corp. was founded on June 30, 1992. It set up Thailand subsidiary in 1996 and Indonesia subsidiary in 1997. In 1999 the company was ISO9002 certified by NSF and established the third subsidiary in Korea. In 2000 its fourth subsidiary was founded in Xiamen. The company was listed in OTC in 2001. Mechema. is engaged in the manufacture, distribution, import and export of the oxidation catalysts, anode materials and other chemical raw materials. The company's major products include cobalt acetates, magnesium acetates, cobalt compounds, manganese compounds, magnetic materials, cobalt bromides, manganese bromides. The Company is also engaged in recycling and reuse of catalyst waste. During the year ended December 31, 2009, the company obtained approximately 48% and 31% of its total revenue from oxidation catalysts and anode materials, respectively. The company distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets, including the rest of Asia.
