Star World Technology Corporation was founded in 1999 engaged in the manufacture of liquid crystal display (LCD) modules. The company made public offering in 2000 and was listed in OTC in 2004. Star World started out from undertaking E-link orders and its main clients were CASIO and E-link. The company's services include the design, manufacture, processing and application of small and medium size thin film transistor (TFT) LCD modules, small and medium size LCD modules, organic light emitting diode (OLED) display modules and cell processing assembly modules. Its products are used in digital clocks, calculators, handhold LCD games, fax machines, printers, multi-functional phones, electronic dictionaries, digital cameras, notebook computers, mobile phones, color LCD televisions (TVs) and global positioning system (GPS), among others. The company distributes its products in Taiwan and to overseas markets in Asia.
