Tai Tung Communication Co., Ltd. was set up in 1987, initially engaging in the communications wire and wire instrumentation and actively developing wires required by the Civil Aviation Authority, Railway Bureau and other agencies and military units. In 1994 it won the DGT 600 qualification for indoor cable. In 1995 its products were rated qualified of the DGT FC / PC standard, SC Standard, ST compatible single-mode fiber-optic leads and jumper cables. In 1996 it won a number of local communication cable DGT assessment qualified. In 1997 it obtained ISO-9002 quality assurance system certification. In 1999 Securities and Futures Commission Ministry of Finance, approved its public offering of stock. On March 28, 2001 it went listed in OTC market as the second class of shares.
