Formally named Taiwan Takisawa Machinery Co., Ltd., Taiwan Takisawa Technology Co., Ltd. was established on July 24, 1971. In April 2001 approved by Ministry of Economic Affairs it set up "Samoa Takizawa Technology Investment Holdings Limited" indirectly investing mainland China; in August 2002, it turned investments in China Shanghai Mechanical and Electrical Co., Ltd. In September 23, 2003 its stock went listed in OTC market, its largest shareholder being Takizawa Japanese Iron Works Co., Ltd., with 45.56% stake in Taiwan Takimoto Ze. On October 15, 2003 its machine tools assembly plant in Shanghai was officially in operation
