Teco Image Systems Co., Ltd. was established in 1997, independent from Communications / Imaging Division of TECO Information Corporation. In the same year it launched the world's first USB interface A4size sheetfed color scanner and high-speed scanners, UA3410 plain paper multi-function laser fax and 27-megapixel digital card dual-aperture camera. In 1998, it launched Taiwan first SuperG3 laser fax machines, the world's first USB interface 300dpiA6size can now scan / overlay color scanner, contact-type image (CIS) scanners, 35-megapixel patented automatic double-aperture digital camera, 100- megapixel automatic color screen digital camera, the world's first USB interface 600dpiA6size scannable overlay color scanners and 150. In the same year of 1998, it obtained CEDISO9002 certification and was allowed the establishment duty-free factory; and it obtained BCIQISO-9002 certification. In 1999 its production base for scanner and digital cameras in mainland China was established. On June 17, 2000, its stock went listed in OTC market. In 2001, it launched Taiwan first A3size flatbed digital copier and A4 flatbed digital copier which obtained “Energy Star” certification mark.In 2002 it launched A3 flatbed laser multi-function business machines to expand the market of mainland China, and also developed independent scanning module entering a new ODM business.
