Founded in September 1997, Truelight Corp. mainly produces laser-based surface design components and parts, parts of high-speed optical detector, media converters, various types of transmitting and receiving optical components and modules, and other related communications products. Hereby they are set out detailed as follows: design, development, production and sales of surface-emitting laser (VCSEL), other types of laser devices, received light diode (PIN Detector), and various kinds of optical components and optical transmission connection module groups and integrated circuits for communications and other related communications products. Necessary assistance and services related to the preceding products were provided, which include maintenance, processing and installation. Import and export product-related business was also available. In October 1998, the company passed anti-radiation detection examined by the world's largest accelerator CERN (Conseil European pourla Recherche Nucleaire). In January 1999, the company promoted VCSEL-based 100M transceiver, then PIN detector products in October. In January 2001, it displayed VCSEL products at Photonics West.
