Top crystal Technology was originally Ding Yuan Opto's Solar Photovoltaic Product Office (ITS).The company was established on August 25,2006, divided from Ding Yuan. It was expected to be registered in Emerging Market on June 15,2007.The company's main products are solar cells modules (57.86%)and the silicon wafer (38.96%)which are mainly domestic-based. In November 2006 the company passed the European Safety IEC61215 certification of solar cell modules. It was Taiwan's first certified industry by TUV. The important materials of solar modules such as film TedlarFilm, glass and EVA still relies on import. The major suppliers of solar batteries are Motech and Sun.The sales focus on Xingda and Motech. The company's foreign competitors are SHARP, Kyocera and Mitsubishi Electric.
