Yeou Yih Steel Co., Ltd. was established in the Republic on 29th January 1996. In October 16th 1999, public offering was issued. In July Tenth 2006, OTC began to trade. Products are mainly stainless steel 304, 304 L, 316L series of more than 8mm thick (82.95%), as the only domestic manufacture producing more than 8mm thick stainless steel. The products are mainly domestic-based. According to Steel & Metals Market Research (SMR) analysis provided information, hot-rolled coil market demand in 2003 and 2010 will show a steady growth trend, from 3.2 million tons in 2003 global demand growth to 4.55 million tons in 2020, which benefits from the rapid growth of China's industrial products. The average annual demand growth in China is about 15%, while global annual average growth rate is about 5%. Domestic manufacturers supplied raw materials of hot-rolled stainless steel plate, are Yieh United and Sinosteel. The world's major manufacturers include Outokumpu (Finland), Nippon Steel & Sumikin Stainless Steel (Japan), Continental TISCO, Industeel (France), Coulumbus (South Africa), DAEKYUNG (South Korea), among which many are one-step stainless steel plant. The main customers are Yun Qiang, Da Cheng Steel and Wu Jing.
