Khartsyzsk Pipe Plant is one of the largest pipe plants in Eastern Europe. The plant produces more than 500 standard sizes of electric-welded longitudinally welded steel pipes of large diameter (up to 1420 mm) for main gas and product pipelines. Since 2015, production at the plant has been stopped. The plant was part of the steel and rolled products division of Metinvest Holding and was a member of the Russian Union of Oil and Gas Constructors (ROSSNGS). On March 15, 2017, the Metinvest Group announced a complete loss of control over a number of enterprises that were in the territory under the control of the DPR and LPR, including the Khartsyzsky pipe plant.
