Khmelnytskygaz Gas Distribution System Operator AT is a powerful and highly developed company located in Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine. The company was established in 1956 and its main task is the transportation of natural gas. It consists of the main enterprise and 18 district structural units that serve the respective districts of the Khmelnytskyi region, excluding the city of Shepetivka and Shepetivka district. The annual volume of natural gas transportation is approximately 700 million cubic meters. The company serves 3,000 legal entities, including major industrial consumers such as Slavutsky Budfarfor Combine, Teofipol Sugar Plant, and Obolon Brewery. Out of 487,000 households in the region, more than 400,000 families are customers of the company. The company operates over 17,000 kilometers of gas pipelines, and the overall level of gasification in the region exceeds 80%. Gasification of settlements in the Khmelnytskyi region has been one of the company's main activities in recent years. As of January 1, 2021, the gasification level in the region is over 80%. Throughout its years of operation, the company has successfully implemented gasification projects in 11 cities of regional and district significance, 22 urban-type settlements, and over a thousand rural settlements. Eight districts of the region are fully gasified with natural gas. The total number of apartments connected to natural gas is 410,000, with over 99% of them equipped with gas meters.
