Humo Air OOO (Uzbekistan)

Humo Air LLC was established in 2020, headquartered in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. It operates as the country’s first low-cost carrier, launched under national aviation reforms and using inherited assets from a previous state aviation enterprise. The airline commenced regular domestic operations on December 15, 2023, initially serving eight routes including Tashkent, Samarkand, Urgench, Bukhara, Namangan, Fergana, Nukus, and Termez with Airbus A320 aircraft on wet-lease terms. In its debut month, Humo Air carried over 41,000 passengers across 314 flights. In early 2023, a Swiss investment firm, Valleyroad Capital S.A., acquired a 100% stake in the airline from the Uzbek government for approximately 27.2 billion soums (USD 2.4 million). As part of the deal, it committed to purchasing 18 aircraft by 2026, expanding flight frequency and modernizing the fleet.
