In Vietnam market, 3A Nutrition Vietnam is the authorized distributor of Abbott Laboratories – a company specializing in research, development, manufacturing, and marketing of healthcare products and services in the fields of nutrition, pharmaceuticals, diagnosed and treated equipment. Products such as Similac Mom, Similac Advance, Similac Advance IQ, Gain Advance, Gain Advance IQ, Gain IQ, Gain Plus Advance IQ, Grow, Grow Advance IQ, Grow School, Pediasure BA, Ensure, Glucerna...are imported and sub-labeled under the name 3A Nutrition Vietnam and then widely distributed to drugstores, supermarkets, and stores/agents across the country.Over the developing period, Abbott has become a very familiar American dairy brand in Vietnam market. Therefore, in addition to 3A Nutrition Vietnam as the official distributor, there are still many importers of these nutritional products on the market, not to mention smuggled products. Although 3A Nutrition Vietnam was repeatedly accused of poor-quality imported products, its output consumption was continuously expanded. Because these are health-related products, formula milk products are always strictly controlled. Besides, to protect the interests of consumers, since 2014, these dairy products are subject to a ceiling price and are only allowed to increase prices within 5%.As of 24 Feb 2023, following the information from credit institutions, 3A Nutrition Vietnam has no outstanding loans at credit institutions (except for an off-balance sheet commitment of VND 21,328 million at HSBC). No negative payment record on the subject company was found at credit institutions.
