The subject was established in 2017 by BINH LINH INVESTMENT AND TRADING COMPANY LIMITED - the owner of “NEM” fashion brand. “NEM” fashion has become familiar with Vietnamese women for about 20 years now. The parent company of subject is now wholly owned by STRIPE VIETNAM JOINT STOCK COMPANY.The subject is major in retail of fashion products with NEM shops. In 2018, four companies - related firms of Mr. Truong Viet Binh were merged into the subject. Up to now, there are total 86 NEM shops nationwide, in which the subject is managing at least 43 shops (the subject has total 43 branches which are retail NEM shops at the present). The rest are likely managed by other related firms of Mr. Truong Viet Binh.Noticeably, NEM TRADING JOINT STOCK COMPANY and DELANI TRADING AND PRODUCING JOINT STOCK COMPANY, which are biggest companies in related firms of Mr. Truong Viet Binh, are being temporarily ceased business for a definite time. As mass media in Aug 2018, NEM TRADING JOINT STOCK COMPANY had bad debt of over VND 111 billion at Viettinbank while the value of inventory (clothes, shoes) ... as collaterals worth were only VND 33.9 billion. Vietinbank must sell debts to the outside market. Since Sep 2018, 70% shares of STRIPE VIETNAM JOINT STOCK COMPANY has been sold to Japan Stripe International.The subject's products are manufactured in domestic industrial parks by firms such as Binh Thanh Trading And Producing Company Limited, Delani Trading And Producing Joint Stock Company which are also belonging to Mr. Truong Viet Binh. The subject's products have several negative news in recent years. Especially, as mass media on 04 Nov 2019, one NEM shop in Hanoi was found to replace Chinese mark with MEM mark on the garment products by authority. The quantity was large up to 4 tons of clothing, valued up to VND 2 billion.
