Originally, the subject was founded in July 2011 as “VIETINBANK AVIVA LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY”, which was a joint venture between Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (“VietinBank”) and Aviva Life Insurance Group ("Aviva") from the United Kingdom. Six years later, Aviva acquired totally VietinBank's stake and the subject was renamed to "AVIVA VIETNAM LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED”.Having operated in Vietnam since Jul 2011, Aviva Vietnam offers a wide range of life insurance products and services including savings, investment, education, and protection products, which are researched and designed to meet the needs of the customers.  Aviva Vietnam has signed an exclusive long-term cooperation contract with VietinBank in distributing life insurance products in Vietnam since 2017. As Mass media in 2019, Aviva Vietnam was present at over 800 branches and transferred offices of VietinBank. Besides, updated to Aug 2020, the company also owned nearly 20 business offices with about 8,000 sale collaborators throughout Vietnam.Generally, after 9 years of operation, the subject was expanded remarkably in recent years. Noticeably, COVID-19 Pandemic has been affecting negatively the whole economy and the subject might not be an exception. Anyway, thanks to good ability of Vietnam's Government to control The Covid Pandemic along with strong support from Aviva International Holdings, the subject's business is supposed to continue growing in 2020.
