Bach Dang Construction Corporation - Jsc (Vietnam)

The subject was started in 1958 and belonged to the Ministry of Construction. It has successfully equitized to BACH DANG CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION - JSC since Jul 2014. It had a time listing its stocks (stock symbol: BDC) on UPCoM market, belonging to Ha Noi Stock Exchange, however, it has delisted stocks since 30 Nov 2020 because it has no longer met enough conditions to become a public company. In Sep 2021, it highly raised the charter capital to VND VND 517,359,000,000.The subject company is mainly engaged in the construction of civil, industrial, and technical infrastructure projects in the domestic market. Some typical works could be mentioned as Nghi Son Oil Refinery, Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant, Hoa Phuoc - Hoa Khuong Road (in Da Nang City), Noi Bai - Lao Cai Highway, etc. Noticeably, it has recently invested in a number of subsidiaries to deploy hydropower projects in which it also plays a role as a construction contractor. Mr. VU QUANG BAO - Chairman of the subject is also one of two shareholders of BITEXCO GROUP OF COMPANIES together with Mr. Vu Quang Hoi - his elder brother. BITEXCO is a well-known name in construction and investment in Vietnam. It is expected that the relations of the Chairman positively support the subject in its operation.
