Cong Ty Co Phan Bia Ha Noi-Nam Dinh, also known as HANABECO, is a beer and bread production company located in Nam Dinh, Vietnam. The company's official name is HANOI - NAM DINH BEER JOINT STOCK COMPANY. It was established in 1969 as a bakery called "Banh my Ba Lan" under the management of Nam Ha Food Company. In 1972, during the Vietnam War, the company was heavily damaged. After the Paris Agreement, it was rebuilt and renamed Nam Dinh Noodle Processing Enterprise, consisting of three main production workshops: Banh my Ba Lan with a capacity of 1,500 tons per year, and two noodle workshops with a total capacity of 13,500 tons per year. In 1985, the company started collaborating with the Food Industry Institute to produce beer on a small scale, with an annual output of 300,000 to 500,000 liters. In 1987, the company was transferred to the Northern Food Corporation and renamed "Nam Ha Food Processing and Trading Company." It expanded its beer production line, increasing its capacity to 3,000,000 liters per year and later to 5,000,000 liters per year. In 1999, the company underwent a transformation into a joint-stock company and was officially named Ba Lan Joint Stock Company. In 2007, it changed its name to Hanoi-Nam Dinh Beer Joint Stock Company. The company has received awards and recognition from the government, including the Labor Medal in 1988 and 1995. It has also been honored by the Ministry of Industry and Trade for its production and business achievements.
