PetroVietnam Pipe Coating Joint Stock Company (PVCOATING) is a member unit of Vietnam Gas Corporation (PV Gas) and a subsidiary of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN). PVCOATING was established by PVN on August 31, 2007. It became a member unit of PV Gas and changed its name to PV Gas Investment & Construction Joint Stock Company (PVID) on June 24, 2009. Later, on April 18, 2013, the company changed its name to PetroVietnam Pipe Coated Joint Stock Company (PVCOATING). The company is located in Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, Vietnam. PVCOATING specializes in providing pipe wrapping services and testing services for materials - pipe wrapped products for the Oil and Gas industry. The company's pipe wrapping factory, with an investment of approximately 30 million USD, is located in Phu My 2 Industrial Park, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. The factory utilizes advanced pipe wrapping technology and equipment provided by Bauhuis International B.V. of the Netherlands. It has a maximum pipe wrapping capacity of 51km of sleeve per year. PVCOATING's services include anti-corrosion coating, reinforced concrete wrap, polyurethane foam insulation wrap, polypropylene insulation wrap, anti-corrosion and insulation wrap for fittings & bends, field joint coating, wrapping pipes and joints by wrapping coating, and material testing and testing services for pipe coated products. All of their pipe coated products meet international standards. PVCOATING has a quality management system and laboratories of international standards to ensure high-quality and stable products that meet the technical requirements of customers. The company's Safety – Quality – Environment management system has been recognized by DET NORSKE VERITAS (DNV) in accordance with ISO 30: 600, ISO 9001: 2008, OHSAS 14001: 2004.
