Construction JSC No. 6 (Vietnam)

Cong Ty Co Phan Cong Trinh 6, located in Ha Noi, was established in March 1956. It was formerly the road overhaul team under the General Department of Railways of Vietnam. The company played a crucial role in restoring the arterial railways of the North after the resistance war against the French. During the resistance against the US, Construction Company 6 supported the large front line of the South by ensuring smooth traffic on all roads and traffic points attacked by the enemy. After the victory of the resistance, the company focused on the restoration and construction of the country, including the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City unified railway and projects such as the Hanoi - Lao Cai and Hanoi - Dong Dang railways. They also participated in bidding and won many large projects, including the overhaul works of various railway routes and the upgrading and expanding of national highways. The company has factories producing concrete sleepers and manufacturing mechanical accessories for railway works, as well as concrete components for road construction, irrigation, urban works, and civil construction. They have a powerful technical staff, modern construction machinery, and skilled workers. The company transformed from a state-owned enterprise into a joint stock company in 2003. They have a quality management system according to international standards and have invested in modern technology for the production of prestressed concrete sleepers.
