Cong Ty Co Phan Thuy Dien Buon Don (Vietnam)

Buon Don Hydropower Joint Stock Company, located in Dak Lak province, is the investor of the Srêpôk 4A Hydropower Project. The project consists of 2 units with a designed capacity of 64 MW and includes a 14km long canal and discharge channel. The company was established on May 20, 2009, with a charter capital of VND 335 billion. Its main business line is the construction, management, and operation of the Srêpôk 4A Hydropower Plant. The project went through various milestones, including appraisal by the Ministry of Industry and Trade for basic design, investment approval by the Board of Directors, and the granting of an investment certificate and construction permit. The project started construction in November 2010 and achieved commercial operation in January 2014. In 2015, the company became a public company in accordance with the Law on Securities. The hydropower plant provides approximately 257 million kWh of clean electricity energy annually to the national grid and contributes over VND 70 billion to the local budget.
