Cong Ty Co Phan Thuy Dien Thac Mo, located in Binh Phuoc, is a hydroelectric company that was established as Thac Mo Hydroelectric Plant according to Decision No. 361/NL-TCCB-LD on June 11, 1994 by the Ministry of Energy. Since January 1, 2008, it has been operating as a joint stock company under the name Cong Ty Co Phan Thuy Dien Thac Mo. The main task of the company is to manage and operate the Thac Mo hydroelectric project. The project is located on the upper source of the Be River, spanning three districts in Binh Phuoc province. Its main purpose is to provide electricity to the southern power system, with a installed capacity of 150 MW and an average annual electricity output of about 600 million kWh. Additionally, the Thac Mo hydroelectric project regulates the water flow for irrigation and domestic use in the lower Be River area.
