Sa Giang is a company located in Dong Thap, Vietnam. It was founded in 1960 by Mr. Le Minh Triet and specializes in developing traditional Vietnamese products, particularly shrimp chips. Over the past six decades, Sa Giang has been dedicated to inheriting and developing the manufacturing of shrimp chips from local heritage. The company has gradually gained recognition for the quality of Vietnamese products worldwide and is currently present in over 30 markets. In addition to shrimp chips, Sa Giang has also expanded its product line to include various dried rice noodle products. The company has achieved several milestones throughout its history, including being awarded a Silver Medal at the OSAKA Tradeshow in Japan in 1970 and becoming one of the first Vietnamese companies to be granted a CODE for exporting products to the EU market in 1997. Sa Giang has also undergone transformations, such as changing from a state-owned company to Sa Giang Import-Export Corporation (SAGIMEXCO) in 2004. The company is listed on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange and has received recognition for its contributions, including the Presidential Second-Class Labor Medal in 2012 and the Presidential First-Class Labor Medal in 2021.
