History:
1990: DMC - Southern Petroleum Chemicals Joint Stock Company (abbreviated as Southern DMC Company) was established on March 8, 1990 on the basis of the Chemical Products Production Enterprise under the General Department of Petroleum in Vung Ship according to Decision No. 182/TC-DK dated March 8, 1990 of the Director General of the General Department of Petroleum.
1992: On August 21, 1992, according to Decision No. 685/TCNS of the General Director of Vietnam Oil and Gas Corporation, Vung Tau Petroleum Chemical Products Production Enterprise became the Southern Branch of Petroleum Drilling Fluids and Chemicals Company.
On July 3, 1996, the Branch of Petroleum Drilling Fluids and Chemicals Company in Vung Tau City was established under Decision No. 2881/DK-TCNS of the General Director of Vietnam Oil and Gas Corporation.
On January 19, 2006, the Branch of Petroleum Drilling Fluids and Chemicals Company was converted into the Branch of Petroleum Drilling Fluids and Chemicals Joint Stock Company in Vung Tau in Decision No. 29/QD-HDQT of the Board of Directors of Petroleum Drilling Fluids and Chemicals Joint Stock Company.
On January 14, 2008, DMC Southern Company Branch in Vung Tau was converted into DMC - Vung Tau One Member LLC according to Decision No. 98/ QD-DMC of the Board of Directors of Petroleum Drilling Fluids and Chemicals Joint Stock Company.
On December 25, 2008, DMC - Vung Tau One Member LLC was renamed Southern Petroleum Chemicals One Member LLC in Decision No. 1106/QD-DMC of the Board of Directors of the Corporation Drilling Fluids and Petroleum Chemicals – JSC.
On April 22, 2009, Southern Petroleum Chemicals One Member LLC was renamed DMC Petroleum Chemicals One Member LLC - Southern based on Decision No. 632/QD-DMC of the Council. Administration of Petroleum Drilling Fluids and Chemicals Corporation – JSC.
On April 26, 2011, DMC - Southern Petroleum Chemicals One Member Company Limited was converted to a Joint Stock Company model with the new name DMC - Southern Petroleum Chemicals Joint Stock Company based on Decision Decision No. 946/QD-DMC dated April 26, 2011 of the Board of Directors of PetroVietnam Drilling Fluids and Chemicals Corporation - JSC.

2023: On June 15, 2023, the company s shares were listed for the first time on Upcom with the code DMS
