EMTEXCO CO., LTD is one of the members of VINATEX, directly owned by VINATEX TEXTILE AND GARMENT NORTHERN CORPORATION LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY. Starting its history in 1965, the subject participates in spinning and weaving. In an interview with a female staff of the administration & HR Department, we are shared that about 90% of its total turnover has come from manufacturing and supplying yarn. Its products are mainly for export (around 70%), reaching markets such as China, Thailand, South Korea, and Japan. In the domestic market, it also mostly provides to garment & textile manufacturers in Vietnam.Because of the impact of the post-COVID economic recession, the order situation had a sign of reduction since Aug 2022, making the net revenue for FYE 31 Dec 2022 depressed by 27.99% year-on-year. It even suffered a high loss due to a higher increase in the costs of goods sold and financial expenses. As revealed, the number of orders has gradually recovered since the end of last month. The revenue for the first half of this year is estimated to decrease from 5% to 10% over the same period last year.
