GEMALINK CONTAINER TERMINAL is a joint venture between SAS CMA TERMINALS, a France-based company and Vietnamese partners. The subject is the investor and operating unit of Gemalink Port in the Cai Mep - Thi Vai zone. As an announcement, phase No. 1 of the project was completed and put into operation in Jun 2021. It can receive the world's largest ships (up to 200,000 DWT). By 2023, when phase 2 is completed, Gemalink will be the largest deep-sea port in the country with an area up to 72 hectares and a capacity of 2.4 million Teus/year.
