The subject company is considered one of the prestigious garment exporters in Bac Giang Province, Vietnam. Founded in 2002, it received a merger of HA MINH GARMENT JOINT STOCK COMPANY in 2016, changing that company to the Minh Duc factory branch and increasing its charter capital to VND 78 billion since then. The total labor force of the production base at the headquarters and the Minh Duc factory branch is around 5,000 people. The company specializes in manufacturing and processing for famous brands such as H&M, Carter's, KOHL's, Target, Gap, etc, serving many types of products: blazer, pullover, skirt, shorts, long-sleeved shirt, pants, and trousers, ... for men, women, and children. As shared, its products are wholly exported overseas, and the main markets are the USA and EU.In 2023, the garment & textile industry has recorded a breakthrough in terms of the number of export markets, yet has faced significant difficulties due to the general economic recession. That is easy to understand because in the context that exporting to major markets has reduced (affected by a large number of inventories), finding and expanding to other markets might be a way to keep production stable. As estimated, the export turnover of the garment & textile industry in 2023 has attained USD 40.3 billion, decreasing by 9.2% over the year 2022. The subject company is not out of the common state.
