Founded in 2002, the subject is active in supplying cargo transportation services by waterways. It mainly supplies international transportation lines to Asia, the EU, and South and North American countries. Currently, the subject has about 11 ships.According to the sales manager, the subject has cooperated with a German partner to get the contract of supplying a minimum of about 840,000 tons of coals (imported from Indonesia) for the project of Vinh Tan 4 thermal power plant, invested by EVN. Thanks to the coal contract as well as market expansion, its sales up to VND 3,600 billion in 2021, of which half came from the coal business. However, this project also caused controversy about the bid guarantee amount between EVN and the subject. As investigated, in Sep 2023, the subject linked with HMS Bergbau AG (German partner) in winning the biding of supplying 400,000 tons of Bitum-Sub Bitum coals for the project Duyen Hai 3 and Duyen Hai 3 extended thermal power plants, of which the subject acts as the main joint venture.
