Linh Long Development Company Limited (Vietnam)

The company specializes in trading agricultural products and animal feed ingredients. From import source, it purchases raw materials for production of animal feed (yellow soybeans, wheat bran, distillers dried grains, corn...) from China, India, Myanmar, USA... Its products are distributed mainly to feed factories in Vietnam.We made an interview with director of the subject. According to him, the company's main customers are large animal feed manufacturing companies, so the volume of products sold is large in 2023. In that year, total sales grew well to reach above VND 700 billion. However, under the impact of many factors such as raw material prices, high logistics costs, high exchange rates, etc., the company's profits have shrunk quite a lot. Low profit margins are a common characteristic of this industry, not just his company. Profit after tax only accounted for 0.5% of total sales to reach VND 3.5 billion, lower than it was in previous year.
