Loc Ninh 4 Energy Joint Stock Company (Vietnam)

The subject is known as one of five solar power plants (Loc Ninh 1, 2, 3, 4,5) in Binh Phuoc, invested by HUNG HAI GROUP JOINT STOCK COMPANY. It is the biggest solar energy project in Binh Phuoc with designed capacity of about 850 MWp. They are planned to finish construction and join National Grid on 31 December 2020. Mr. Tuan from the subject company said that it could meet this schedule.Notably, In June 2020 the Board of Directors of Super Energy Corporation Company Limited (SEC) of Thailand announced that at the end of March 2020 they had sent a letter to the Thai Securities Commission announcing the decision to spend no more than 456.7 million USD on investment in 4 solar power plant projects, including Loc Ninh 1 (200 MW), Loc Ninh 2 (200 MW), Loc Ninh 3 (150 MW), and Loc Ninh 4 (200 MW) in Binh Phuoc Province (Vietnam). According to the announcement, the investment in Loc Ninh 1 solar power project is 99.7 million USD, in Loc Ninh 2 is 140 million USD, in Loc Ninh 3 is 105 million USD, and in Loc Ninh 4 is 112 million USD. Supper Energy would acquire these projects through buying shares of companies SSEVN1, SSELN2, SSEBP3 in Vietnam.  In respond, LOC NINH ENERGY JOINT STOCK COMPANY affirmed that SSEVN1, SSELN2, SSEBP3 were not related to Loc Ninh 1, 2, 3, 4 projects. Therefore, the move to buying shares of those companies of SEC would not affect into those projects. The announcement of SEC was not true and LOC NINH ENERGY JOINT STOCK COMPANY had sent an official letter to SEC, requested this company to revise its announcement.
