The subject specializes in processing cashew nuts. The raw cashew nuts are purchased domestically. The output products are exported to China, Hong Kong, USA.Noticeably, in 2018, the raw materials shortage, high prices of raw materials and low prices of the output products stifled the cashew industry. As a result, the subject's total sales in that year decreased by 10.26% compared to the peak in 2017. And, the revenue could not cover the fixed expenses so its gross profit became negative and it reported a noticeable loss in 2018. Then, despite having revenue recovery in 2020, due to a negative net gross profit margin, it reported a noticeable loss that year again.According to Ms. Khanh – an admin staff of the subject, due to the fourth strong outbreak of the Covid Pandemic in Vietnam, the subject had to apply the social distancing solution from Jul 2021 to Oct 2021 following the “three on-site” model (eating, staying and working on the site for workers) in the company's campus for about 100 workers at work. Anyway, the subject still met most of the orders from the clients during the social distancing, she added.
