The subject is a member of VIETNAM ELECTRICITY (EVN). Starting in 2008, the subject has operated in the field of power transmission for 16 years. Remarkably, the subject is the only state-owned enterprise tasked with developing and operating the national power transmission system. In 2020, the subject became one of the 4 biggest power transmission businesses in the ASEAN region, according to Siemens AG.In Apr 2023, EVNNPT managed and operated 29,426 km of line (including 10,467 km 500 kV line and 18,959 km 220 kV line, up 245% in comparison with the establishment time), 185 transformer stations (including 37 transformer stations with 500 kV and 148 transformer stations with 220 kV, up 172% in comparison with the establishment time).The subject transmitted 2,180 billion kWh power from its establishment to mid-2023, with an average growth ratio of 7.74%/ year. In the fifteen years of operation, it invested VND 230,000 billion to develop the national power transmission system and put into operation 662 power transmission grid works.As a plan, in 2024, EVNNPT will focus on priority projects; build 34 new projects; complete and operate 63 power transmission projects.
